What it is

Umami is a simple analytics dashboard, similar in spirit to Plausible, with a free cloud plan for one site and up to 100,000 events a month. It's open source, so you can run it on your own server for free if you'd rather. The paid cloud plan adds more sites, more people and longer history.

Good for

  • Side projects that want free, simple stats
  • Developers happy to host it themselves
  • Keeping several small sites on one Pro plan

Watch out for

  • The free cloud plan is one site with 6 months of history
  • Self-hosting means you look after updates and backups
  • Extra events on Pro cost $0.00003 each
